The Camacho Nicaraguan Barrel Aged Toro finds the Honduran powerhouse using select filler tobacco grown in Esteli. Toasted bread and dark roast coffee, combined with leather and oak, are enriched by the warm caramel sweetness from the aged rum. On the nose, the wrapper shows sweet musk and a faint booziness. Nicaraguan Barrel Aged immediately begins filling the mouth with reams of shockingly bright smoke loaded with the taste of sugarcane and enhanced by white pepper, leather, and toasted oak. The pre-light draw is roughly medium, giving light notes of cedar/paper and white pepper.
